Overview

For nearly thirty years, I have taught the Bible in churches, retreats, conferences, and small gatherings with a simple aim: to help people encounter God’s Word clearly, honestly, and faithfully, and to grow in enduring Christian maturity.


My teaching is expository and Scripture-driven, drawing meaning from the biblical text itself rather than using Scripture to support pre-determined themes. I seek to connect the Bible’s ancient truth with the lived realities of suffering, calling, leadership, grief, and faithfulness under pressure.

Whether in a Sunday service, retreat setting, or teaching intensive, my goal is not to energize an audience for a moment, but to help people see Christ more clearly, hear the gospel more deeply, and leave strengthened rather than exhausted.

Speaking Style & Approach

  • Biblically faithful and text-centered: Scripture is treated as authoritative, sufficient, and worthy of careful attention.  
  • Formational rather than performative: Teaching aims at spiritual maturity, repentance, and endurance, not emotional manipulation.  
  • Clear, conversational, and grounded: Theological depth without unnecessary jargon; accessible without being shallow.  
  • Pastorally realistic: Especially attentive to grief, suffering, burnout, disillusionment, and moral complexity.  
  • Collaborative and adaptable: Willing to work within your theme, context, or series while remaining faithful to Scripture.

Honorariums vary by event type, travel, and preparation. I aim to remain accessible, particularly to smaller churches and nonprofit organizations.
